My wife and I reside in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I am Canadian and she is Dominican. During our last visit to her homeland she introduced me to many beautiful pieces of handicrafts created near her home town of Moca.

Initially it was our intention to purchase these items for our personal use but shortly thereafter, because of all the nice comments we got about these pieces we decided to import and sell these items in  North America.

At Dominican Creations, we are always in search of new artisans that create beautiful things in the Dominican Republic. We want to share these pieces with you. These items are ideal for any occasion when you want to give the perfect gift.

We believe that what we do will enrich your life and improve the plight of the artisans we encounter in this developing country. Dominican Creations will continue to work  with  these gifted and creative people to bring their work to you..

Montreal is currently our primary place of business. We have sold many of these handmade items to the general public through  local advertising in newspapers as well as online  at " For Sale " sites such as Craigslist.

We are also now members of the AOL Canada family of online shops. Through these sites we have been able to introduce these items to other cities in Canada..

 Several boutiques located in the Montreal area are our clients as well. We hope that through this web site we will be able to introduce our merchandise to the global market place.
